And Pain And Pain For Him For Her That Rhyme Tumblr
Lost For Him From Her And Pain That Rhyme And Life For Kids
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
The Free Bird Leaps
On The Back Of The Wind
And Floats Downstream
Till The Current Ends
And Dips His Wings
In The Orange Sun Rays
And Dares To Claim The Sky.
But A Bird That Stalks
Down His Narrow Cage
Can Seldom See Through
His Bars Of Rage
His Wings Are Clipped And
His Feet Are Tied
So He Opens His Throat To Sing.
The Caged Bird Sings
With Fearful Trill
Of The Things Unknown
But Longed For Still
And His Tune Is Heard
On The Distant Hill
For The Caged Bird
Sings Of Freedom
The Free Bird Thinks Of Another Breeze
An The Trade Winds Soft Through The Sighing Trees
And The Fat Worms Waiting On A Dawn-Bright Lawn
And He Names The Sky His Own.
But A Caged Bird Stands On The Grave Of Dreams
His Shadow Shouts On A Nightmare Scream
His Wings Are Clipped And His Feet Are Tied
So He Opens His Throat To Sing
The Caged Bird Sings
With A Fearful Trill
Of Things Unknown
But Longed For Still
And His Tune Is Heard
On The Distant Hill
For The Caged Bird

Take This Kiss Upon The
Brow!
And, In Parting From You Now,
Thus Much Let Me Avow-
You Are Not Wrong, Who Deem
That My Days Have Been A Dream;
Yet If Hope Has Flown Away
In A Night, Or In A Day,
In A Vision, Or In None,
Is It Therefore The Less Gone?
All That We See Or Seem
Is But A Dream Within A Dream.
I Stand Amid The Roar
Of A Surf-Tormented Shore,
And I Hold Within My Hand
Grains Of The Golden Sand-
How Few! Yet How They Creep
Through My Fingers To The Deep,
While I Weep- While I Weep!
O God! Can I Not Grasp
Them With A Tighter Clasp?
O God! Can I Not Save
One From The Pitiless Wave?
Is All That We See Or Seem
But A Dream Within A Dream? The Free Bird Leaps
And, In Parting From You Now,
Thus Much Let Me Avow-
You Are Not Wrong, Who Deem
That My Days Have Been A Dream;
Yet If Hope Has Flown Away
